
Clermont Farm Receives $747,875 National Park Service Grant
The Clermont Foundation has received a grant from the National Park Service of $747,875 to rehabilitate the interior of the Owner House, five service buildings, and five historic structures at the farm. A funding match of $30,799 from the Foundation brings the total cost of the project to $778,674.

Award From Lord Fairfax Soil and Water Conversation District
At an awards luncheon on November 10 given by the Lord Fairfax Soil and Water Conservation District (LFSWCD), Clermont Farm in Clarke County received a “Virginia Clean Water Farm” award honoring its conservation practices.

National Park Service (NPS) Semiquincentenial Grant
The Clermont Foundation has received funding for a $515,000 project to rehabilitate three historic buildings at Clermont Farm in Clarke County. This project includes a grant of $472,000 from the National Park Service, $10,000 in match, and $33,000 of in-kind archaeology services from the Virginia Department of Historic Resources, according to Bob Stieg, CEO of the Foundation.
