Finding Descendants
Help the Clermont Foundation preserve and share the story of Clermont Farm by adding your voice to its history. For more than 250 years, this land has been home to generations of people whose lives shaped the farm and the wider Shenandoah Valley. Farmers, laborers, tenant families, and enslaved men, women, and children all left their mark on Clermont, though many of their names and stories remain unknown.
If you or someone you know lived or worked at Clermont Farm, we invite you to share that connection with us.
Personal memories, family stories, letters, or photographs can provide valuable insight and help us better understand the lives of those who came before. By contributing your story, you become part of an ongoing effort to preserve Clermont’s history for future generations. Please send us a message—we would love to hear from you.
